Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Train and supervise part-time staff to maintain productivity and safety standards
- Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory accuracy using WMS systems
- Implement lean practices to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with sales, purchasing, and transportation teams
- Resolve operational issues promptly to maintain on-time delivery performance
Qualifications
- 2+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- Forklift certification and material handling equipment proficiency
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make time-sensitive decisions
- Basic math and data analysis skills for performance reporting
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
