Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and shipping operations
- Train and lead part-time staff in safety protocols, equipment operation, and efficiency standards
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize productivity and space utilization
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
- Prepare daily reports on productivity, inventory status, and team performance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse supervision or team lead experience
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
