Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise 3-5 part-time staff on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement OSHA compliance measures
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Coordinate with transportation team for seamless dock scheduling
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
- Prepare daily activity reports and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics environment
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 training preferred
- Proficiency with WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory systems
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate part-time teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities under time constraints
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
