Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 5-7 warehouse associates to ensure productivity targets
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and workflow efficiency
- Train staff on proper equipment operation and material handling procedures
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely loading/unloading of shipments
- Generate daily performance reports for operational review
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse management or supervisory experience
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS preferred)
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- OSHA safety training certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic warehouse software
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
