Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise 3-5 warehouse associates on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance across all operations
- Optimize inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies and maximize space utilization
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely loading/unocking of shipments
- Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory, shipments, and incidents
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse management or supervisory experience
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Valid Michigan driver's license
