Responsibilities
- Supervise 5-8 team members during shifts, ensuring task completion and productivity targets
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, including OSHA compliance and equipment handling
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, verify inventory accuracy, and maintain records
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization
- Train and mentor staff on equipment operation and best practices
- Conduct daily inspections of facility, equipment, and safety systems
- Collaborate with logistics team to resolve operational bottlenecks
Qualifications
- 2+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS preferred)
- OSHA safety training and hazard awareness certification
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent required
