Responsibilities
- Supervise 5-8 warehouse staff during shifts, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity standards
- Monitor inventory levels using WMS systems, conducting cycle counts and reconciliations
- Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance, conducting daily inspections
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely loading/unloading of shipments
- Train new hires on equipment operation, procedures, and safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily operations, incidents, and inventory movements
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- 2+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environment
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and reporting
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
