Responsibilities
- Supervise 5-8 team members during shift operations, ensuring task completion and quality standards
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols, conduct daily safety inspections
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and WMS system oversight
- Coordinate receiving, putaway, and shipping processes to meet deadlines
- Train and mentor new staff on equipment operation and procedures
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
- Maintain clean, organized workspace and equipment functionality
Qualifications
- 2+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse best practices
- Experience with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Availability for evening/weekend shifts (20-30 hrs/week)
