Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and lead part-time staff to maintain safety protocols and productivity standards
- Monitor inventory levels and implement cycle counting procedures
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming/outgoing shipments
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and compliance records
- Optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency
- Address operational issues and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- 2+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or supply chain
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Proficient in warehouse management software (e.g., WMS, SAP)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
