Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor part-time staff through clear delegation and performance coaching
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Optimize workflow efficiency using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with shipping/receiving teams
- Implement process improvements to reduce waste and enhance productivity
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse supervisory experience in distribution or logistics
- OSHA 10-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory software
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during peak seasons
