Responsibilities
- Oversee daily receiving, stocking, and inventory control activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, performance feedback, and training on safety protocols.
- Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to minimize accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
- Manage warehouse layout and equipment maintenance, ensuring forklifts and pallet jacks are operational and safe.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing teams to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Lead and participate in regular safety meetings and emergency drills.
- Process and verify shipping documents and load outbound trucks with precision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or lead role.
- Valid Forklift Certification and ability to operate warehouse machinery.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and stock control procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
