Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 5-7 warehouse associates with clear performance expectations
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize storage layouts and streamline material handling processes
- Conduct regular quality checks and resolve operational discrepancies
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Generate accurate inventory reports and maintain digital records
- Collaborate with procurement to manage stock levels and reorder points
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse management experience with inventory control systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency in WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development success
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
