Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, facilities, and storage areas to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Train new employees on proper lifting techniques, forklift operation, and inventory management software.
- Generate and analyze operational reports to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve productivity.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues with professionalism and speed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Valid forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training certification.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
