Responsibilities
- Select and verify merchandise from warehouse shelves according to pick tickets and purchase orders.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information and barcodes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and 5S standards.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or errors.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse software.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
