Responsibilities
- Accurate Order Fulfillment: Retrieve and verify merchandise using handheld scanners to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Packing & Shipping: Safely package items according to company standards and prepare them for timely shipment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels and report discrepancies immediately.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred).
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet quality specifications before dispatch.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when reading pick tickets and scanning barcodes.
- Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic for weighing and measuring packages.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing or retail is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
