What You'll Do
As a Picker Packer, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. You will ensure that orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack merchandise from warehouse shelves using handheld scanners and picking carts.
- Verify product quantities and descriptions against customer orders to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and package items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, adhering to weight limits and safety guidelines.
- Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to the shift supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
