Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Retrieve and pick customer orders accurately using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Packing: Safely pack items into boxes, ensuring proper cushioning and labeling for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies immediately.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for defects before packing to ensure only high-quality products leave the warehouse.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and power jacks safely and in compliance with safety protocols.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the picking and packing stations organized, clean, and safe at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly; ability to stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not required.
- Reliability: Demonstrated history of punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on accuracy and follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
