Responsibilities
- Retrieve merchandise from storage areas and pick items based on customer orders using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Package items securely using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label, weigh, and scan packages to ensure accuracy in the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily shipping targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; no experience necessary for entry-level candidates.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory and billing checks.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
