Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks, containers, and storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies immediately.
- Organization: Stack and organize products according to safety guidelines, company standards, and designated zones.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and workplace policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and paperwork related to shipments and inventory counts.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we provide training for motivated candidates.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory verification and the ability to read labels and pick tickets.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
