Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Retrieve customer orders from the warehouse storage areas and prepare them for shipment with precision and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating the warehouse management system (WMS) in real-time.
- Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and handheld scanners.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before packaging to ensure high-quality delivery standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols and 5S principles.
- Order Fulfillment: Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Reliability: Punctual, consistent attendance, and a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
