Responsibilities
- Retrieve and select merchandise from storage areas based on pick lists and digital scanners.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information and barcodes.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and conveyor systems (certification preferred).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety compliance and efficiency.
- Inspect goods for defects and report any inventory discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills and ability to read pick lists and labels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (loading docks/warehouses).
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required for all positions.
