Role Overview:
As a Picker Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and packing products to meet customer demands. You will ensure that orders are prepared efficiently and shipped on time, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve customer orders and accurately pick items from shelves using handheld scanners and pick-to-light systems.
- Pack items securely in boxes, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and cushioning.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packaging to minimize returns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping targets and productivity goals.
- Update inventory counts and resolve discrepancies using warehouse management software.
- Load and unload shipments as needed, ensuring proper handling of heavy goods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods; ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with barcode scanners is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (required for remote positions).
- Valid driver’s license (required for on-site positions).
