Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack merchandise from the warehouse floor using RF scanners and handheld devices to ensure 99% order accuracy.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage or defects and ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep workstations and aisles clean, organized, and safe in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Load Preparation: Label, wrap, and prepare pallets for shipping or transfer to the loading dock efficiently.
- Overtime Support: Be willing to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends, as business demands require.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail stocking role is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on concrete floors.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners (training provided).
- Availability: Must be available to work a full-time schedule, including overtime during peak seasons.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well within a team environment.
