Job Overview
As a Picker Packer, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will work closely with a team to maintain high efficiency and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Pick merchandise from shelves and staging areas according to customer orders and pick lists.
- Package items securely using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate handheld scanning devices to verify item codes and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders.
- Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor immediately.
- Follow all company safety protocols and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
