Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move palletized freight using forklifts and pallet jacks in accordance with safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Accurately check and record inventory, ensuring stock levels match the warehouse management system.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to streamline daily operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (reach truck, sit-down forklift, or cherry picker).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) and occasional overtime.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
