Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Select merchandise from shelves and pack it into boxes with care, ensuring items are not damaged.
- Inventory Verification: Use handheld scanners to verify items against purchase orders and ensure accuracy.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and completeness.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and colleagues to meet daily productivity targets.
- Overtime Support: Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime shifts to support business needs.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Must have reliable transportation and a positive attitude.
- Basic Math: Ability to count, read labels, and perform basic math for inventory counts.
- Computer Literacy: Basic familiarity with computer systems or willingness to learn.
- Flexibility: Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required.
