Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick and pack merchandise from warehouse shelves based on picking tickets and customer orders.
- Inspect items for quality assurance and damage before packing them for shipment.
- Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure the packing area is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily productivity and shipping targets.
- Load and unload trucks safely, adhering to all weight and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (equivalent experience accepted).
- No previous warehouse experience is required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills for reading labels and scanning equipment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new warehouse technologies.
