Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Accurately select merchandise from shelves and prepare it for shipment using warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Verify quantities of items to ensure order accuracy and maintain inventory records.
- Palletizing: Properly stack and secure products on pallets using shrink wrap and banding equipment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts (certification provided).
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse housekeeping regulations.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and walk on concrete floors.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when picking and packing orders.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand written instructions and communicate with supervisors.
