Job Overview
As a Picker Packer, you will be responsible for retrieving merchandise from the storage area, packaging it for shipment, and ensuring it is ready for delivery. This is a fast-paced role requiring attention to detail and physical stamina.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders using RF scanners.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure proper packaging to prevent shipping errors.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided).
- Report inventory discrepancies and safety hazards immediately to management.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily and weekly productivity goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
