Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural network architectures for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, NeurIPS, etc.)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor-AI interfaces
- Translate theoretical quantum-AI models into scalable industrial applications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NSF grants for 2026-era research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum neural networks
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq) and AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti) and GPU-accelerated computing
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants
- Strong background in information theory and quantum error correction
- Track record of translating research into commercial applications
- US citizenship required for government contract compliance
