Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning
- Lead quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant system design
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum processor integration
- Translate business requirements into quantum technical specifications
- Research emerging quantum technologies and industry trends
- Present quantum solutions to C-suite executives and stakeholders
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum system design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical audiences
- Published research in quantum computing or related field preferred
