Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise-level applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms solving real-world optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Partner with research institutions to publish breakthrough quantum papers
- Implement quantum security protocols for blockchain and financial systems
- Drive quantum cloud platform integration with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Mentor junior scientists in quantum error correction techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or commercial development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published work in Nature/Science or IEEE Quantum journals
- Proficiency with quantum circuit design and optimization
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum processors
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Track record of securing $1M+ in quantum research grants
