Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Design scalable quantum error correction protocols for industrial deployment
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to identify high-impact quantum use cases
- Publish peer-reviewed research and secure federal/state innovation grants
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
- Develop roadmaps for quantum-hybrid computing infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proven track record of securing $1M+ in research funding
- Published in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
