Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for next-gen cryptography systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected qubit architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026 applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-coherent processors
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research with 20+ publications
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization
- Track record of securing NSF/DARPA research grants
- Deep knowledge of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with superconducting/ion-trap quantum systems
