Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in drug discovery and climate modeling
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers to develop quantum software stacks
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security protocols for critical infrastructure
- Develop error-correction techniques for scalable quantum systems
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum annealing systems (D-Wave, Rigetti)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical solutions
- Strong track record of securing research grants or patents
