- Design and implement quantum algorithms solving NP-hard optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Author peer-reviewed publications in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $1M+ in DoE/NIST quantum research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Patent novel quantum hardware-software interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science with 5+ years industry R&D
- Expertise in superconducting qubits or photonic quantum computing
- Published in top 3 quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in Qiskit/Cirq and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems below 10mK
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary quantum projects
- Security clearance preferred for defense-adjacent research
