Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Materials: Safely load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and track incoming and outgoing inventory using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following all safety protocols and labeling requirements.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare, package, and label goods for shipment to ensure accuracy and prevent damage during transit.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately to supervisors.
- Quality Control: Verify product quantities and quality against packing slips to minimize errors and returns.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- License: Valid driver's license and forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
