Job Overview
As a Picker Packer, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain. You will be responsible for accurately retrieving, packing, and preparing merchandise for shipment to our valued customers. Attention to detail and speed are key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve merchandise from shelves using scanners and pick lists efficiently.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Verify order accuracy by cross-referencing items with packing slips.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency standards are met.
- Operate warehouse management systems and handheld scanners to track inventory movements.
- Assist in loading trucks for delivery when required.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable internet connection (if working remotely).
- Valid ID and eligibility to work in the United States.
