Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Senior AI Architect to spearhead our infrastructure for the 2026 Vision initiative. Nexus Horizon is building the next generation of autonomous systems, and we need a leader who can design scalable, fault-tolerant architectures that stand the test of time.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical AI research and production-grade software engineering. You will define the technical roadmap, mentor top-tier engineering talent, and ensure our systems are ready for the future.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-availability, distributed systems tailored for AI workloads.
- Lead the architectural strategy for the 2026 technology stack, integrating cutting-edge machine learning models.
- Mentor engineering teams on best practices for cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Kubernetes).
- Collaborate with data scientists to optimize model inference pipelines and reduce latency.
- Conduct code reviews and drive technical excellence across the organization.
- Establish security protocols and data governance frameworks for sensitive AI applications.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior architecture role.
- Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Rust, with a strong focus on AI/ML frameworks.
- Proven experience designing scalable cloud-native applications.
- Strong understanding of machine learning operations (MLOps) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
