We are seeking a visionary Senior Director to spearhead our The 2026 Initiative. As we look toward the technological horizon of 2026, we need a leader who can bridge the gap between current capabilities and future breakthroughs. You will be responsible for defining our long-term technology roadmap, identifying emerging trends in AI and quantum computing, and ensuring our infrastructure is future-proof.
In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and strategists to build the platforms that will define the next generation of digital experiences. Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Develop and communicate a comprehensive strategic vision for technology evolution leading up to 2026, identifying key milestones and deliverables.
- Emerging Technology Analysis: Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging tech trends (e.g., Generative AI, Edge Computing, Spatial Computing) to assess their relevance and potential impact on our business.
- Product Innovation Leadership: Lead the R&D team in prototyping and developing next-generation products that leverage future-ready technologies.
- Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with technology partners, academia, and industry leaders to stay ahead of the curve.
- Infrastructure Scalability: Oversee the architectural transition to scalable, cloud-native systems capable of supporting our growth through 2026 and beyond.
- Team Development: Mentor senior engineering leaders and foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the technology department.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a Director or VP-level capacity.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), Machine Learning pipelines, and modern web technologies.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies and roadmaps.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to C-suite executives and technical teams alike.
- Innovation Mindset: A proven track record of driving innovation and delivering results in fast-paced, agile environments.
