Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environment
- Execute inventory management tasks using RF scanning technology
- Maintain precise warehouse organization and OSHA compliance protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional material movement with production teams
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance reports
- Mentor junior operators on safety procedures and operational standards
- Optimize loading/unloading efficiency for 24/7 distribution operations
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with 3+ years industrial experience
- Proven track record in inventory control and warehouse management systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying temperature conditions
- Strong attention to detail with zero-tolerance for safety violations
- Experience with RF scanning and WMS technology (e.g., Manhattan, SAP)
- Valid NC driver's license and clean MVR record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
