Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Load/unload shipments with precision while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including LOTO procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S standards
- Assist in inventory audits and cycle count procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- 3+ years of experience operating heavy machinery in warehouse settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional overtime
- Valid Washington state driver's license
