Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in fast-paced warehouse environments
- Load/unload shipments with meticulous attention to inventory accuracy
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Maintain organized storage systems following FIFO principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Train new operators on equipment operation and safety standards
- Utilize warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current certification card
- Proven ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong understanding of inventory control procedures
- Exceptional spatial awareness and depth perception
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with pallet jacks and order-picking systems
