Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Coordinate efficient loading/unloading of freight trucks using advanced equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records via RF scanning systems
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and operational best practices
- Optimize warehouse layouts to maximize storage efficiency
- Adhere to all safety regulations including lockout/tagout procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in temperature-controlled environments
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification preferred
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
