Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and yard
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage inventory counts and documentation with WMS systems
- Coordinate with team to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols
- Train junior operators on equipment usage and safety procedures
- Assist in warehouse layout improvements and efficiency projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA certification and forklift license
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Flexible availability including weekends and overtime
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills for documentation tasks
