Responsibilities
- Operate electric and propane forklifts to transport materials throughout 50,000 sq ft warehouse
- Execute inventory control procedures using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Maintain OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections and safety audits
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of 53' trailers
- Train new operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Optimize storage layouts to maximize space utilization and accessibility
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator license (valid)
- 3+ years experience in warehouse logistics environment
- Proficient with inventory management software (SAP/JDE preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand 8+ hours
- Forklift certifications: sit-down, stand-up, and reach truck
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
