Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts and material handling equipment in warehouse settings
- Safely load/unload shipments and organize inventory in designated zones
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train junior operators on safe equipment operation practices
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current or within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
