Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Execute precise inventory control procedures using RF scanning systems
- Coordinate cross-functional material handling with shipping/receiving teams
- Maintain equipment through daily inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Train junior operators on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and safety compliance
Qualifications
- OSHA forklift certification with minimum 2 years recent experience
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., WMS, RF scanners)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Experience with high-value electronics handling preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends as needed
