Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in fast-paced warehouse environments
- Execute precise material handling for incoming/outbound shipments and inventory management
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs proactively
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflow efficiency
- Train junior operators on safe equipment usage and best practices
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and documentation
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with 2+ years of recent experience
- Proven ability to operate multiple forklift types (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks)
- Strong understanding of inventory control procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperature conditions
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and shipping documentation
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred
