Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Train junior operators on safe equipment handling procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow
- Assist in warehouse layout improvements and space utilization
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift license (3+ years experience)
- Proven ability to operate various forklift types (electric, propane, narrow aisle)
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license preferred
